Since its move to the East Village in 2018, SI has collaborated with neighborhood arts and civic-centered organizations to offer art-centered programs to both an East Village–based and broader New York City audience. Through partnerships, we seek to be a locally engaged organization and a resource for the many communities that live, work, and play around us.

SI’s community and education programs are held in partnership with celebrated local organizations, including long-established East Village nonprofits such as Women’s Prison Association, Fourth Arts Block, Educational Alliance’s Sirovich Center for Balanced Living, Free Arts NYC, and New York City’s Department of Youth and Community Development.

SI is pleased to be a member of Fourth Arts Block, Soho Arts Network, and the New York Public Library’s Culture Pass program.

SI is home to do you read me?! and actively supports their community programming.
